The Creative Business Cup Sweden is an annual startup pitch competition that celebrates the most innovative businesses in Sweden. This is your chance to connect with startups, investors, industry leaders, and experts. Learn about their businesses, and potentially become a part of their success stories. The stakes are high – the winner of the competition gets to represent Sweden at the global finals in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is an opportunity for exposure and networking on a global scale. 

  • 13.30-14.00: Drop in and mingle

  • 16.00: Announcement of winner
  • 16.30 - 17.30: Mingle and networking

All you need to know

The event will take place at Surr Arena. We welcome everyone that is interested in the startup ecosystem to join. We will have multiple startups, investors and ecosystem actors attending. 

The winner of the pitch competition will get a spot in the international Creative Business Cup Final in Copenhagen, 2nd to 3rd June. 

Are you a startup and want to compete in the pitch competition? 
Here are the requirements for competing: 

- Have the core asset of the business based on creative competencies*.
- Be commercial, the concept must have market potential.
- Own the right of the idea with which the company is entering the competition.
- Be registered as a legal entity in Sweden.
- Not have received more than 1.000.000 USD/10.000.000 SEK of external capital investment in the past.

*Creative Industries include the areas: advertising, architecture, craft & artisan, design,
experience technologies, fashion, film video & photography, gastronomy, leisure activities, music, performing arts, publishing, radio & television, software – computer game & electronic, 3D printer maker, toys & games.

The winning startup will also receive a winner package from the organisers including 100 000 SEK worth of consulting services from VNTRS, startup credits at GCP and services from Brewhouse.
